Matcha is a DEX aggregator, built by 0x. With over 5 million tokens indexed across 9 blockchains, the decentralized exchange provides aggregated liquidity from +100 sources and the most efficient trade execution through smart routing. Matcha offers swaps, limit orders and cross chain trades, having enabled over $62B volume and 3.5M+ trades as the first consumer-facing product by the 0x team.

0x platform is developers' one-stop shop to build financial products on crypto rails. 0x empowers hundreds of teams and developers with essential web3 tools to enable faster trading, better prices and superior UX. Our suite of APIs has processed over 60M+ million transactions and $133B+ in volume from more than 6 million users trading on apps like Coinbase Wallet, Robinhood Wallet, Metamask, Zerion, Zapper, and more.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage a first-class engineering team that will scale as the company and business grows, identifying and filling any team gaps
  • Develop a team-oriented, supportive culture with a strong focus on creating a working environment that fosters collaboration, open communication, and delivering outcomes
  • Be responsible for team output across multiple axis: execution, speed, technical excellence, reliability, just to list a few examples.
  • Collaborate with Product in setting roadmap and priorities to ensure we’re delivering a valuable and delightful customer experience.
  • Constantly improve team productivity, refine agile processes, and create methods to increase efficiency
  • Perform personnel management tasks for a team of developers, including performance reviews, compliance with company policies, mentoring, and planning career growth
  • Set best practices, standards, culture, and policies

REQUIREMENTS

  • 4+ years of people-management experience, 4+ years of relevant development experience
  • Ability to clearly defining deliverables and timetables, with demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities in complex environments and manage teams to successful project completion
  • Detail-oriented approach to challenges and the ability to drive initiatives to completion.
  • Knowledge of software engineering best practices.
  • Excellent written and oral business communication and people skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, including technical leaders and executive management.
  • Experience working with cross-functionality across multiple teams to deliver high-quality products.
  • Experience creating and maintaining high-throughput APIs

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience working in a remote-first environment.

  • The base salary range for this position is $120k-240k + equity + ZRX tokens + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, location, business needs, and candidate preferences between the different compensation elements.
